  • GANDHI SAROVAR Gandhi Sarovar is also known as Chorabari Tal is located at a distance of 3 km from Kedarnath. Gandhi Sarovar is a beautiful lake that holds crystal clear water. It demands a trek of 3 km that is very easy and will take you through beautiful grassy fields.
  • SONPRAYAG Located at a distance of 18 km from Kedarnath, Sonprayag is a small hamlet that lies at the confluence of two holy rivers Basuki and Mandakini. The snow-covered mountains and streams of rivers add a majestic charm to this location.
  • VASUKI TAL Vasuki Tal or Vasuki Lake is situated at a distance of 8km from Kedarnath. The beautiful lake provides stunning views of Chaukhamba peaks. To get to the lake one has to cross Chaturangi Glacier and Vasuki Glacier. During winters the lake gets completely frozen so the best time to visit is from May to October.
  • TUNGNATH Tungnath is one of the Panch Kedar temples that is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is the highest Shiva temple in the world. It is 88 km far from Kedarnath and is also a trekking destination. You can also enjoy watching various birds like Monal around Tugnath.
  • DEORIA TAL Deoria Tal is a beautiful mountain lake located at a distance of 73 km from Kedarnath. The lake is surrounded by thick forests and the crystal clear water offers the reflection of the Chaukhamba peak. To reach the lake one has to complete a 7km moderate trek from Ukhimath or you can reach Saari and trek about only 3 km to reach Deoria Tal.
